Road Closure Information

These are areas that can expect longer delays:

  • Second Street (Letica) between Main and Parkdale will be temporarily blocked while the runners and walkers head on Second Street to Elizabeth beginning at approximately 8:45 am.
  • Main & University
  • Ludlow & Woodward (at the Paint Creek Trail)

See how Brooksie road closures will affect local areas. Rolling Open roads will reopen quickly after the last runner passes by. Please feel free to obtain additional race information on the web at www.thebrooksieway.com.

  1. John W Sanderson says

I see NO reason to use public streets for this event. There is the entire campus of Oakland and even the Stellantis CTC area and some public trails, with minimal use of public rights of way. It is NOT the best use of public roads!

  2. Every year the residence of the north west corner of Rochester Hills are completely inconvenienced by this event. You can’t get out of your driveway, you can’t go on your road. You are stuck. Take your somewhere else we don’t need it anymore
