Lyrics are by Howard Ashman and Glen Slater with a book by Doug Wright.
Ariel (played by Ashlyn Moran), the youngest mermaid daughter of King Triton (Alex Cook), longs to live in the human world to pursue Prince Eric (Kyle Mason) and is willing to make a deal with Ursula, the sea witch (Mina Kambakhsh), to make it happen. With the help of Flounder (Mallory Boyd) and Sebastion (Jacob Mancinotti), Ariel embarks on an adventure to make her dream come true.
Disney’s The Little Mermaid is Rochester Community Schools Summer Music Theatre’s 43rd annual production. Director JoAnna Pillsbury, Vocal Director Cat Menzies, Pit Director James Ferden, and Choreographer Tyler Capa work with a cast of more than 100 students from Rochester Community Schools and surrounding districts to bring this spectacular production to life.
