Oakland University Professor Terri Orbuch Speaks at the Rochester Hills Public Library February 16
Valentine’s Day is a high-pressure holiday that can be stressful for people in relationships and disappointing for those who aren’t. If the holiday leaves you feeling anxious the Rochester Hills Public Library invites you to see the Love Doctor February 16 at 7:00 p.m. Oakland University Professor and relationship expert, Dr. Terri Orbuch will talk on love, relationships, and of course Valentine’s Day.
As America’s most trusted relationship, Dr. Orbuch has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, Reader’s Digest and TIME Magazine along with appearing on shows like The Today Show, The Katie Couric Show, ESPN and CNN. Her relationship segments air on Fox-TV Detroit along with her PBS TV program, “Secrets From The Love Doctor“, as well as being a relationship expert for OurTime.com.
“Love is something that I am passionate about and I hope for everyone to have,” says Dr. Orbuch. “Speaking at the Rochester Hills Public Library is a great opportunity to help the public with their questions on finding and keeping love in their lives.”
Dr. Orbuch wrote six books, including 5 Simple Steps To Take Your Marriage From Good To Great and Finding Love Again: 6 Simple Steps To a New and Happy Relationship. She has also published over 50 articles, with ranging love topics from marital boredom, racial differences, implications for divorce, and marital happiness. She also is the director of a National Institutes of Health study, following 373 couples for almost three decades.
