The Michigan Renaissance Festival Returns!

Returning This Weekend for Seven Weekends

Relive the Legend at the Michigan Renaissance Festival

Relive the Legend at the Michigan Renaissance Festival

Celebrating its 35th year, the annual Michigan Renaissance Festival sends guests back to the 16th century. This is that one time of year where southeast Michigan residents can dress up as elves, knights, faeries, and princesses and go to the Village of Hollygrove. This made-up land, on the border of Holly and Groveland Township, is ready to go with new attractions and returning favorites.

Beat the crowds and arrive early, they open at 10:00 a.m. with free parking. Upon entering the gates, you will be handed a program of the day’s events. Check the times and locations of the shows you want to see and then set off to explore the 15-acres of entertainment, shops, and food.

Comments

  1. There should be a notice about the Return of Shakespeare’s Shorts after a fifteen year or more hiatus. Festival days at 6-ish on the Griffon Stage. Cast includes Deante’ Fettuccine, Emrys Fleet, a couple of tortugas, and smuj. It will be a work in progress as we’ve had only one day to rehearse and several of the cast members have become quite enfeebled with old age. So it should be hilarious regardless of whether they have learned their lines yet. d.b.
