In 2015, The Women’s Fund awarded $25,000 in grants that empowered women in need with job seeking/job keeping skills, education, specialized training, women’s health support and inspired women to pursue a better future for themselves and their families; including American Association of University Women/Rochester, Assistance League of Southeastern MI, Burnstein Clinic, Crossroads for Youth, FaithWorks Michigan, HAVEN, Lighthouse – Career Dress, New Day Foundation for Families, OPC, Paint a Miracle, Rainbow Connection and Women’s Alliance of Oakland County as well as scholarship funding through the Community Foundation and an additional commitment to Rochester Area Neighborhood Houses’ Capital Campaign.

Over the past 16 years, the Women’s Fund has donated more than $300,000 to organizations helping women. The fund is a permanently endowed fund owned and administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester. Through grant-making, the Fund provides ongoing and future support for programs that aid women while preserving and managing its donations in perpetuity by spending only the fund’s income and annual earnings.
