The Women’s Fund Vision for 2020

The Women’s Fund of Rochester recently announced their vision for the year 2020 will be to grow their endowed fund to $1,000,000.

The Women’s Fund was established in the year 2000 with the purpose of creating a powerful legacy of women devoted to improving the community through philanthropic endeavors and providing financial support to organizations that help improve the lives of women in need. Over the past 16 years the Women’s Fund has given out over $300,000 in grants to help women. The goal of growing the endowed fund to $1,000,000 will double the amount the Women’s Fund will be able to grant to organizations that help women.

“Our newly developed Legacy Circle has been created to help us achieve this goal. There are 3 levels of giving, Platinum, Gold and Silver.  The donations can be made over a 4-year period.  Giving to the Legacy Circle will help contribute to the Women’s Fund efforts to empower women and move women and girls from poverty to economic self-sufficiency,” said Judy deSteiger; President of the Women’s Fund Board.
