Tienken Road Paving in Rochester Hills Starts This Week Local Traffic Delays Expected

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) advises local traffic using Tienken Road between King’s Cove Drive and Rochester Road in Rochester Hills to expect delays due to paving that is taking place throughout the week of July 13.

The road remains closed to through traffic and open to local traffic (traveling to homes and businesses within the construction zone); however, there will be delays for local traffic due to asphalt paving work.  Through traffic should continue to use the designated detour of Adams Road to University Drive to Rochester Road and vice versa.

This is part of the on-going $7.8 million Tienken Road project. The entire Tienken Road project from Canyon Creek to Rochester Road is expected to conclude in November. The prime contractor for the project is Dan’s Excavating.
