Tienken/Brewster Intersection in Rochester Hills to Close on Aug. 10

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) announced it will close the Tienken and Brewster Road intersection in Rochester Hills beginning Monday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. for road construction.

Traffic from subdivisions north of Tienken Road will be able to proceed north on Brewster Road to Dutton Road. Traffic from subdivisions south of Tienken Road can take Brewster Road south to Walton Boulevard during the closure.

This weekend, prior to the closure, the intersection will be milled, and flaggers will direct traffic. Motorists should expect the delays.

The intersection will re-open to traffic the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Once the intersection is closed, vehicles traveling to and from Brookwood Lane (on the south side of Tienken between Brewster and Livernois) will have to use Tienken Road east to Livernois and vice versa. This will remain the case for Brookwood traffic indefinitely.
