Expedition to Antarctica

The Rochester Hills Public Library is pleased to welcome world travelers Jim and Py Wolfe to present “Expedition to Antarctica” on Tuesday, January 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the library’s Multipurpose Room. The program will take attendees on adventures beginning in South America with visits to the Chilean Fjords, the Strait of Magellan, the Beagle Channel, and Cape Horne, then on to the dangerous Drake Passage to Antarctica for eight landings, including at the British and Ukrainian science stations, and finally back to Argentina in South America.

Retired educators, the Wolfes work as citizen ambassadors with the U.S. State Department to host delegations from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. This program requires registration.
