Trick-or-Treat Downtown, Costume Parade and Spaghetti Dinner

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oct. 5, 2010 – On Oct. 23, join your friends and neighbors in downtown Rochester for Trick-or-Treat Downtown, a costume parade… and spaghetti?!

Kids are encouraged to dress-up and Trick-or-Treat Downtown from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Sixty businesses will participate in Trick-or-Treat and streets with participating businesses will be marked with balloon decorations.

At 5:15 p.m., kids can meet for the Costume Parade at the public parking lot at the corner of Water Street and University.  They will be joined by a police car, fire truck and some surprise participants!  The parade will proceed south on Water Street and end at the Rochester Fire Department.

Stop by the Rochester Fire Department either before or after Trick-or-Treat for a Spaghetti Dinner and Open House benefiting Rochester Area Youth Assistance.  The dinner will run from 4:00 – 9:00 pm.  The Fire Department is located at the corner of E. Third and Water Street.

Tickets are on sale at the door and cost $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children ten years old and younger.  A family ticket can be purchased for $20.00. The family ticket allows two adults and up to three children (ten and under) to eat dinner with a big savings.
