Trouble on Tienken
Two incidents in Rochester Hills were reported by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office today:
Death Investigation
Deputies along with the Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to a residence located in the 2900 block of W. Tienken Rd for a report of a man hanging from a rope. Deputies arrived on scene and found the victim hanging in the basement of the residence. RHFD determined the victim was deceased. The victim has a history of depression. No signs of foul play were observed. The subject was pronounced deceased via telemetry by a physician from Crittenton Hospital.
A detective and ME Investigator were contacted and responded to the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body pending an autopsy. The victim is a 50 year old male, resident of Rochester Hills.
Felonious Assault/Shots Fired
Rochester Hills Deputies were dispatched to assist the Rochester Hills Fire Department on a person passed out in a vehicle located in the 1400 block of Tienken Ct. The fire department advised that while they were attending to the subject a second subject came out of the residence and took a handgun from the car. Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with the subjects inside of the apartment. The subjects stated that the person who was passed out in the vehicle pulled out a gun and pointed it at another person inside the apartment. They wrestled over the gun and a round was fired striking a bed in the bedroom. A 13 year old and an infant were sitting on top of the bed when the round was fired. The person who fired the round was thrown out of the home.
A Detective responded to the scene for further investigation. Evidence Technicians processed the scene. The suspect was transported to Crittenton Hospital for further treatment and was then lodged at OCJ pending charges. The suspect is a 26 year old male, resident of Madison Heights. And the victim is a 25 year old male, resident of Rochester Hills.

I lived in Rochester for 40 some years and moved out in 95 and before that I never would have seen this much crime or this kind of stuff going on it was just a quiet little town but growth brings problems
