Troy Police seek help finding homicide suspect in gas station murder on Rochester Road

The Troy Police Department need your help finding the homicide suspect thought to be involved in the murder of Athir Putres.

Last week, Purtres was killed at the Clark Gas Station located at 6951 Rochester Road.

Here is the press release from Troy Police along with a sketch of the suspect:

HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION—SUSPECT COMPOSITE

With special thanks to the media for helping us to get our message out earlier in the week, the occupants of the Black Buick have contacted us.  They have been interviewed and identified as witnesses.  Through their cooperation we have developed a composite of the suspect in the murder of Athir Purtres at the Clark Gas Station.

Once again, we are seeking the help of the media in order to get this composite out as quickly as possible.

The Police Department is asking anyone who can identify the individual depicted in the attached composite, or anyone that may have seen someone in the area matching this description, to call the Troy Police Department immediately.

The individual is described as an African-American male, age of 40-50 years, approximate height of 5’09”, medium build, with a mustache.  He was last seen at the rear of the Clark Gas Station at the time of this incident and he was wearing a light gray, mid-thigh length, winter parka.
