Every summer, the Rochester University Theatre Company produces Shakespeare Upon Avon. Professional actors and directors from around the country come to RU’s campus to perform some of Shakespeare’s best plays. Past shows include Macbeth, The Comedy of Errors, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, Godspell, and As You Like It. You do not want to miss our return to live, outdoor theatre with a talented, all-female cast. Come out and enjoy the Bard in our lovely outdoor theatre space.

Performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be July 28-30 at 7:30 p.m. All performances will take place on the campus of Rochester University at 800 W. Avon Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307, in the outdoor theatre behind Palmer Hall. Accessing the outdoor theatre requires walking down fifteen (15) steps. Benches are available but bringing a lawn chair is recommended.
