Art Market 2018

Artisans, Tom Wencel and Patty Dow are both excited to return to the market this year. Wencel, who has sold handmade jewelry at the market for the last seven years said that this is more than just a craft sale, “I enjoy sharing the story of the stones and how I’ve created the pieces I’m selling,” he stated.

Dow commented that the market is a platform for her to exhibit her pieces and share samples of work that can be customized and commissioned even after the day of the sale. The level of quality and skill involved with each creation is clear through vendors like Patty Dow and Tom Wencel.

Throughout the years, the OPC has developed a rich art program and is excited to celebrate local talent which includes artists who fostered their skills in classes at the facility. All funds raised from the $1 entry fee will be used towards furthering the Arts and Enrichment Department at the OPC and for helping older adults discover their hidden creative talents.

Stop in (650 Letica Drive, Rochester, MI 48307) and shop to get a head start on gifts for everyone in the family. For more information on this event and others visit the OPC website, www.opcseniorcenter.org or call 248-656-1403 ext. 0.
