The Neighborhood House Clothes Closet provides new and gently used clothing and small household items to our neighbors in need. A career corner is available for those looking for career related clothing. Men’s, women’s, infant’s and children’s clothing is available. A birthday room is also available for low-income parents to select a new birthday gift for their children age 12 and under.

Neighborhood House Clothes Closet is open to the public. The funds made through these purchases allow Neighborhood House to operate the “client only” section where those in need can come for free clothing and household items, helping them on their path to self-sustainability.

“The clothes closet is a great asset for the community,” Kathy Losinski, Executive Director, Neighborhood House, said. “We are able to provide a basic necessity for those in need and we see it change their lives.”

Neighborhood House Clothes Closet will be participating in Downtown Rochester’s Sidewalk Sales this year on July 12, 13, and 14. They will be set up in front of D’Marcos Italian Restaurant, on the corner of Fourth Street and Main Street. This event is open to the public and Neighborhood House encourages everyone to stop by to check our fabulous items and to learn more about the organization.
