Volunteers needed for Howlett Park Clean-Up Day on Sunday, July 27, 2014

On Sunday, July 27th, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, the Rochester City Beautiful Commission will be having a Clean-Up Day at Howlett Park.

We are looking for volunteers to help build a pedestrian bridge with the Fire Department and Department of Public Works staff members. We will also be placing wood chips, removing invasive species and cleaning up the park and removing any kind of debris. We will gather on the sidewalk on the east side of Inglewood near Terry Street and then proceed from there.

If you are interested in helping, please email cbc@rochestermi.org with your name and contact information, and the names of everyone in your group. Please remember to bring your work gloves! We want to send a huge thank you to the Rochester Church of Christ whose members will be volunteering at Howlett Park after they hold their church service.
