Who Will Be Crowned Top Chef 2019 at the Older Persons Commission?

On August 15, ten Senior Living Community chefs will be competing to be crowned Top Chef 2019 in the categories of; appetizer, entrée, and dessert at Older Persons’ Commission (OPC). The culinary skills of these individuals will be judged by local executive chefs and professionals with an award ceremony emceed by Jennifer Kincer and sponsor Ascension Providence Rochester (Crittenton Hospital) presenting the trophies.

The 10 Senior Living Communities who will be competing to be crowned Top Chef 2019 are American House Elmwood, American House Stone, Bellbrook, Blossom Ridge, Cedarbrook, Heartland Oakland, Henry Ford Village, Pomeroy Living, Sunrise Rochester and Waltonwood University. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Meals on Wheels program that provides nutritious meals and a wellness check for homebound seniors.

The Top Chef event is open to the public from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and tickets for this foodie event are only $15. Everyone will have an opportunity to sample each entry.
