Win a $1,000 shopping spree in Downtown Rochester

Come April 1, there will be one lucky winner of a $1,000 Shopping Spree to downtown Rochester.

How do shoppers enter to win? It’s simple, shop downtown Rochester this March!

Customers may qualify for entry by spending at least $100 collectively at one or more of the 27 participating businesses any time throughout the month of March. To enter for the shopping spree, receipts must be validated at the DDA office (308 1⁄2 Main) during business hours Monday-Friday, 8am -5pm or ‘till 9pm on Thursdays (March only). Customers will be allowed one entry for every $100 spent.

“Mad Money March will give the community an incentive to spend dollars in downtown PrintRochester in a month that otherwise can be a bit dreary,” said Stephanie Hellebuyck, Rochester Downtown Development Authority events coordinator. “By March, everyone is looking for signs of spring, warmer weather, and something fun. Your chances of winning the shopping spree are greater than winning the lottery, so why not take a chance?”

27 participating businesses will extend their hours and hold  special March-themed promotions on Thursdays March 6, 13, 20 & 27! The Thursday night themes include Mardi Gras (March 6), St. Patty’s Day (March 13), Spring Equinox (March 20) and March Madness (March 27).
