Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is Presenting Winter Survival 101
The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be presenting Winter Survival 101 on Monday, January 16 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Bloomer Park. Admission is free for Rochester Hills Museum members. For non-members, the admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. Ages 8 and up are welcome. The city’s naturalist and environmental educator will be teaching guests how to build a survival shelter and the art of starting a fire without matches. This program will also include making s’mores over a bonefire! Come dressed for the weather and ready to learn about winter survival skills.
