Young Leaders Celebrate Cider Season with Tasting

Join the Rochester Hills Museum Young Leaders (RHMYL) at Fieldstone Winery for a hard cider tasting and a presentation on the history of cider on October 15 at 7:00 p.m.

This hybrid event will have both virtual and limited in person options. Each ticket will include a package of eight hard cider samples and a presentation on the history of cider by Museum Program Coordinator Cathy Fitzpatrick and Head Cider Maker Ryan Mulrenin.

“Cider has a long and vibrant history in our community,” states RHMYL Chair Olivia Olson. “We look forward to engaging guests and sharing this unique story.”

For those that would prefer to enjoy the presentation virtually, they can turn their living room into a virtual tasting room and listen to the presentation from the comfort of their own home. Virtual ticket buyers can pick up their hard cider samples in advance of the session on either October 14 or on October 15.

After the event, those attending in person can order their favorites and 15% of their purchases will also go to the Rochester Hills Museum on Van Hoosen Farm. Tickets for the History of Cider are $25 per person.

Due to Social Distancing Protocol in person tickets are sold as a pair. Participants must be 21 years of age to participate. Registration for this event will close on Wednesday, October 14.
